Yesterday I learned that my friend’s father lost his battle with cancer. You almost forget how to learn until something big happens. Petty little things now make you seem silly. We are only lucky enough to have a few amazing people in this world that love you whole heartedly. Sometimes we forget that. Perspective suddenly seems to return to your life in a flash. I admit the reminder is needed but I just wish it wasn’t in such a terrible disguise.
